Teaching Philosophy
I love teaching any and all kinds of statistics; afterall, statistics is how we make sense of the randomness around us. I particularly love teaching introductory courses, but I am excited to teach upper-level capstone classes at Macalester.
Current Courses
STAT 155, Sections 03 and 04
- Title: [Introduction to Statistical Modeling]
- Semester: [Fall 2026]
- Description: An introductory statistics course with an emphasis on multivariate modeling. Topics include descriptive statistics, data visualizations, multivariate linear regression, logistic regression, probability, model building and interpretation (i.e., confounding variables, causal diagrams, data context), and statistical inference (i.e., confidence intervals and hypothesis testing).
